Please join us in supporting the mission of SFLS:

Volunteering

One way to support our school is to volunteer your time. There are an array of possibilities, including: lunchroom server, Scholastic book fair supervisor, classroom helper, SCRIP program assistant, building maintenance, Parent-Teacher Fellowship (activities range from providing teacher lunches to hosting church worker appreciation events and our annual Craft & Vendor Fair), fundraising/outreach volunteer (e.g. help with our Annual Hearts on Fire Auction or the Our Greatest Gifts Capital Campaign), and many more.

2017-2018 Lunch Volunteers Needed

The SFLS Lunch Team invites you to join their fun group of volunteers. Hot lunches, catered by Lifescape, are served daily to students in preschool through 8th grade. Volunteers help serve and clean up, and are needed during the school year (August - May) from 10:45am to 1:15pm every Monday through Friday. If you are interested and available to help once a week, or even every other week, please contact our lunch coordinator, Loren Paulson, at 605-351-5024 or loren.paulson@yahoo.com.

Craft & Vendor Fair:

This annual event is hosted by the Sioux Falls Lutheran Parent Teacher Fellowship to help raise funds for Sioux Falls Lutheran School. We can always use extra sets of hands to help set up, supervise, and tear down. Visit our Craft & Vendor Fair web page or our Craft & Vendor Fair Facebook page to learn more.

SCRIP:

Purchase gift cards for the places you frequently shop through our SCRIP program, and a percentage of your purchase (determined by the business) will go towards tuition assistance! To learn more about this outstanding opportunity, visit our SCRIP web page

Giving:

SFLS participates in many programs that enable us to raise funds and supplies. Saving these items and bringing them to SFLS provides an easy way for you to support the school.

In addition, SFLS accepts donations ranging from musical instruments to stocks to annual monetary gifts. Items (such as trips, artwork, and even services) are wonderful ways to give to the annual Hearts on Fire Auction.

Contact the school at 605-335-1923 if you are interested in making a donation of any sort.

As our school continues to grow, we need your support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive a faith-based education.
