Sioux Falls Lutheran School is thrilled to announce that its new 400-seat Chapel and Performing Arts Center will be named in recognition of Dr. Vaughn and JoAnn Meyer. Longtime friends of SFLS, the Meyers recently pledged one million fifty thousand dollars to the Our Greatest Gifts Capital Campaign to build the Chapel and Performing Arts Center.

Sioux Falls Lutheran School will build a preschool through 8th grade facility in southern Sioux Falls. The school, with expanded childcare and adjacent athletic fields, will be at 74th Street and Tallgrass Avenue, where interstates 29 and 229 meet, on a site donated by Sanford Health.

Alumnae Inducted into National Honor Society for World Languages

Last spring, Anna Shane, Bria Berg, and Kristina Pike, all of whom graduated from Sioux Falls Lutheran School in 2015, were inducted into the National Honor Society for World Languages. During their time at SFLS, the girls were part of a class that began studying Spanish in kindergarten. Today they are quick to credit their success with the language to that early exposure.
