December Construction Update
Thanks to above average temperatures in recent weeks, Hoogendoorn Construction finished pouring footings at our new facility today! Foundation walls are slated to be completed later this week, and the framing subcontractor is busy framing walls around the preschool and K-8 wings. Jensen Masonry is also half way done building block walls around the storm shelter classrooms.
The first load of structural steel is expected to arrive this week, which will allow crews to move forward with enclosing the building.
On Friday, December 7, Dr. Rebecca Schmidt, Director of LCMS School Ministry, and Mrs. Lee Wagner, Early Childhood Director at Immanuel Lutheran School in Saint Charles, MO, spent the day mentoring our early childhood team as we prepare to double the size of our preschool next school year. They are pictured at the new SFLS site with Mrs. Tia Esser, SFLS Administrator, and Mrs. Kristy Bridges, SFLS Preschool Director.
On Thursday, December 13, our K-8 students also had the opportunity to visit our new campus.
Please join us in praising God for the blessing of beautiful weather this December!
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and to Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
