Each December, our cherished Christmas programs are accompanied by a Tree of Love fundraiser—an opportunity to reflect on our many blessings and remember families at SFLS who could use some extra help during the holidays. While our Christmas programs are happening virtually this year due to the pandemic, we still invite you to share a blessing with those families in one of the following ways:

  1. Make an online donation.

  2. Donate via SCRIP when you place your next order. Suggested SCRIP donations include HyVee, WalMart, Lewis Drug, Walgreens, Target, or Gas Station Cards.

Thank you, in advance, for serving your SFLS neighbor in this way!

Speaking of Christmas programs, early childhood teachers are busy sharing the anticipation of the Christ Child with students and sending pictures and videos home to families via email. Kindergarten-3rd grade and 4th-8th grade Christmas programs are being recorded this week and will be shared with families via email before Christmas break.

And for the first time, we are pleased to invite you to attend our high school’s 2020 Christmas concert, Christmas Past, via livestream at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10. In compliance with South Dakota High School Activities Association’s copyright guidelines, the concert may only be livestreamed, and not recorded. You may, however, view it live online and invite others to join you by sharing this blog and livestream link.

At the end of the concert, our administrator Tia Esser will share exciting news and a video about the Our Highest Gifts for Our High School capital campaign. The entire event should last a little over an hour. Please plan to join us and help us spread the news!
