K-12 Enrollment Up 15 Percent at SFLS
As Sioux Falls Lutheran School expands into a two-section elementary school, K-12 enrollment during the 2023-24 school year is up 15 percent from September, 2022.
This year, elementary has double sections of kindergarten, first, and second grades, with plans to continue adding an additional section of kindergarten each year moving forward as enrollment growth supports the expansion.
We took some time to visit with new K-12 families to learn more about what prompted them to make the switch to SFLS. Common themes among their responses include a firm Christian foundation and values alignment, challenging academics, and finding a right-size school community.
