Intended field of study: Computer Science and Engineering

What makes South Dakota School of Mines & Technology a good fit for you?
It is a smaller campus with a great community, and everyone there wants to see you succeed. 

How did you feel when you received the news of your acceptance?
Excited

How did you decide on a school/field of study?
I have always been interested in computer science since I was young, because it is what my dad does.

Which classes, programs, and/or faculty at Sioux Falls Lutheran School helped support your interest in your planned career field?
My math classes have prepared me for what I will have to take in college. 

Please share any other activities that had a significant impact on you during your time at SFLS.
Football taught me how to work as a team and have respect for the people around me as we work together. It also taught me how to deal with people I didn’t get along with and how to show Jesus’ love for them regardless of what I thought of them.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
“Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” —Psalm 37:5
Psalm 139 is also a favorite.
