What Is a Pledge or Gift Commitment?
A pledge, also known as a gift commitment, is simply a promise to support the mission of Sioux Falls Lutheran School through a one-time donation or a specific contribution made over a period of time. Pledges give families, alumni, and supporters a flexible way to make a meaningful impact.

We understand that life changes over time. Pledges are not a legal contract, but a good-faith intention that can be adjusted at any time. Our goal is partnership, not pressure.
Why Commitments Matter
When you make a pledge or gift commitment, you are promising future support that allows Sioux Falls Lutheran School to plan boldly, grow responsibly, and continue serving students with excellence. Knowing what support is coming allows leadership to invest faithfully and responsibly in areas that strengthen students academically, spiritually, and socially. Your commitment helps us:
- Strengthen Christ-centered programs
- Plan long-term for facilities and learning spaces
- Manage loans and campus improvements
- Provide stable support for teachers and students
- Make larger gifts more manageable through monthly or yearly giving
