Senior Spotlight: Isabella Stubkjaer
As graduation draws near, we’re sitting down with the class of 2025 to talk about their time at Sioux Falls Lutheran School and what the future holds.

Intended field of study: Early childhood
What makes Southeast Tech a good fit for you?
It is hands-on with smaller class sizes.
How did you feel when you received the news of your acceptance?
Excited.
How did you decide on a school/field of study?
It was something I was interested in, and I’ve worked with kids in all kinds of different ways, and I love it.
Which classes, programs, and/or faculty at Sioux Falls Lutheran School helped support your interest in your planned career field?
Volleyball program—I helped with a lot of younger kids’ practices and camps. Throughout the 2022-2024 high school seasons, Mercedes Covrig and Steph Vosborg were huge inspirations for how I want to help kids in a positive way through seeing their coaching styles.
Please share any other activities that had a significant impact on you during your time at SFLS.
Volleyball.
