The Sioux Falls Lutheran School Legacy Society honors and recognizes individuals and families who have included SFLS in their estate plans or through another planned gift. These faithful supporters help ensure that Sioux Falls Lutheran School continues to develop Capable Christian Servant-Leaders who are World Ready and Faith Secure for generations to come.
Legacy Society membership is our way of expressing gratitude, honoring your generosity, and stewarding your intentions with care.

What It Means to Be a Legacy Society Member
The Legacy Society is more than a recognition society. It is a community of faithful stewards who desire to leave a lasting legacy for Christ through Christian education.
Legacy Society members share a common belief that:
- Everything belongs to God. They seek not their own glory but give glory to God, remembering that “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” (Psalm 24:1)

Create Your Will and Get Peace of Mind
Sioux Falls Lutheran School partners with FreeWill to guide you through the process of creating a will or trust at no cost. Many supporters use it to document their wishes or prepare before finalizing plans with an attorney. You may wish to consult your legal and tax advisers to determine the most appropriate approach based on your circumstance.
Beneficiary Designations for IRAs, Pensions, and More
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? Some such assets require a separate beneficiary designation. Through our trusted partner, FreeWill, you can review these assets and, if you choose, name Sioux Falls Lutheran School as a beneficiary of one or more accounts as part of your overall estate plans.
